NEON ABYSS

Neon Abyss 2 Secret Rooms

Use the Smiley Merchant’s resource swap, distinguish Orange Cat’s carried roulette from a placement puzzle, and keep Storm Breach separate from dungeon-room routes. Laser-door and Psychedelic entry rules remain incompletely sourced.

The actions below come from official named updates. They do not establish a universal secret-room entrance, a fishing-boss trigger or a current complete Psychedelic route.

Smiley Merchant: Change the Payment Resource

Hold the interaction button and spend coins to randomly change the payment type among coins, hearts, bombs, keys and eggs. It is not a free swap or a way to select a guaranteed particular resource.

Orange Cat: Carrying, Not a Verified Placement Puzzle

Glimmer Heist says that taking damage while carrying Orange Cat triggers roulette: yellow drops coins and red increases size. Greater size can allow more coins. It does not identify an altar or a required room in which to place the cat.

Fishing Room and Hidden Boss

1.0 adds a day-night cycle and confirms a hidden fishing-room Boss. Its fixes mention Chest-trigger and combat/exit-state issues, but do not publish a complete encounter trigger or a fishing-boss walkthrough.

Red Laser Doors: Damage Evidence Is Not an Entrance Solution

Rule Changer includes laser gates among damage sources that Safety Helmet can block. That is evidence of a damage interaction, not proof that the Helmet unlocks every red door or grants access to the Temple of Psychedelic.

Temple of Psychedelic: Preserve Branch and Token Limits

The existing August 28, 2025 Patch Notes 8.27 source places the Apollo/Psychedelic route changes in its beta subsection: the ordinary level does not require Faith and the dark level requires Psychedelic Token. It does not establish that these are the complete current 1.0 entrance rules, or that Psychedelic Token and Acid Token are identical.

Storm Breach Is a Mode, Not a Hidden Door

The 1.0 launch releases Storm Breach from beta as a faster mode for one to four players. The June 2026 beta description of Storm Raid removes ordinary dungeon exploration. Do not impose the normal dungeon’s hidden-room sequence on the released mode or infer a new mode’s entire route from an older beta name.

Questions this page answers

Where should I put Orange Cat?

The verified behavior requires carrying it and taking damage for roulette. No required placement puzzle or altar is established by Glimmer Heist.

How do I open a red laser door?

No complete entrance solution is established here. Safety Helmet’s laser-gate protection is not an unlock rule; do not spend a run assuming it opens the door.

How do I change Smiley Merchant payment?

Hold interaction and spend coins to randomly change the payment resource. The swap does not guarantee a chosen resource.
